• Tractor registrations: 15,540 agricultural tractors (>50hp) were registered in 2007, up 14.6% on the previous year. January 2008 saw 767 agricultural tractors (>50hp) registered. a year on year increase of 4.5%.
  
• The Side X Side Group of the OPE have issued guidelines for users of Side X Side vehicles. The guidance notes cover Safe Use, training, safety checks and maintenance and advice and a number of other issues.

Overseas Programme 2007/08
Golf Industry Show, Anaheim, February 2007 - 5 companies exhibited with UKTI funding.

SIMA, Paris, 4-8 March 2007 - A.E.A. shared a stand with British Livestock Genetics, Holstein UK and Shepherd Publishing at SIMA and together with 6 other companies benefitted from UKTI funding.

Potato Russia, August 2007 - UK Pavilion organised by British Potato Council - 8 UK companies received funding.

Agritechnica, November 2007 - 10 UK manufacturers received funding from UKTI.

UKTI have suspended the Tradeshow Access Programme for the remainder of their financial year i.e. until 1st April 2008. No overseas exhibitions will be grant supported until then.
