• Tractor registrations: 777 agricultural tractors (>50hp) were registered in February, up 23.3% on a year earlier; this brings year-to-date total to 1511 units (up 15.7%).
  
• The Side X Side Group of the OPE have issued guidelines for users of Side X Side vehicles. The guidance notes cover Safe Use, training, safety checks and maintenance and advice and a number of other issues.

Overseas Programme 2007/08
Funding has been approved for the following events:-

Golf Industry Show, Anaheim, February 2007 - 5 companies exhibited with UKTI funding although there were a number of other UK companies who are now exporting to the USA as a result of past participation with UKTI funding.

SIMA, Paris, 4-8 March 2007 - A.E.A. shared a stand with British Livestock Genetics, Holstein UK and Shepherd Publishing at SIMA and together with 6 other companies benefitted from UKTI funding.

Potato Russia, August 2007 - grants for "new exporters" and also experienced exporters new to the Russian market

Agritechnica, November 2007 - grants for "new exporters"

Golf Industry Show, January 2008 - grants for "new exporters"
